– November 20, 2009 – Victoria Justice, one of the hottest rising teen stars in entertainment today, has signed with manager Larry Rudolph under his ReignDeer Entertainment shingle for music representation. Justice is the star of Nickelodeon’s newest comedy series, “Victorious,” a co-production between Nickelodeon and Columbia/Epic Label Group (a unit of Sony Music Entertainment). “Victorious” is created by Dan Schneider, television’s #1 consistent hit-maker in the kid/tween/teen market. Schneider is responsible for the hit shows “Zoey 101,” “iCarly,” “Drake & Josh,” “The Amanda Show,” “What I Like About You,” “Kenan & Kel”, and “All That.” A perfect vehicle for the multi-talented Justice, “Victorious” follows Tori Vega (Justice) a teen who unexpectedly finds herself navigating life at an elite performing arts high school. Justice will not only get to showcase her comedy and acting skills, but she will be able to show off her vocal abilities, as the series will feature original music performed by Justice and the ensemble cast.
Larry Rudolph is known throughout the music industry and the world as the man, who helped shape and mold the career of one of the world’s biggest Iconic figures of this century, BritneySpears. In over a decade, Rudolph has yet to place his stamp of approval on another solo teen act until now. Rudolph and his Vice President, Adam Leber, have found in Justice all the star qualities that he recognized in Britney so many years ago.
“Victoria’s star quality is undeniable,” said Rudolph. “She is an incredibly gifted actress and singer, and her personality lights up any room. She’s the total package and we are thrilled to be working with her.”
“Victoria’s intellect, poise and maturity belies her 16 years,” adds Leber. “She’s definitely one to watch.”
“Victoria is fast on her way to becoming a breakout star,” said show creator Dan Schneider. “She’s gorgeous, a fantastic actress and singer, and she’s a pro with comedy – all of which she will showcase in Victorious. She can play the ‘every girl’ teenager, but even at 16 she’s got enough poise and confidence to host the Oscars and star in movies.”
Before arriving in Los Angles five years ago from Hollywood, Florida at age 11, Justice was one of top child/tween models in the business and landed coveted print campaigns for such brands as Guess, Ralph Lauren and Gap to name a few. She wasn’t in LA a mere ten months when she met with the executives at Nickelodeon’s then hit series “Zoey 101” and was instantly cast in a series regular role of Zoey’s roommate “Lola Martinez.” When Zoey ended in 2007, Dan Schneider and the execs at Nickelodeon knew they had something special in Justice and immediately signed her to a deal. While waiting for “Victorious” to start production, Nick kept Justice busy with a bevy of guest-starring stints on their top rated shows such as, “True Jackson VP,” “The Troop,” “The Naked Brothers Band” and “iCarly. Justice’s “iCarly” episode, iFight Shelby Marks was a ratings bonanza for the already top rated show. In addition, Justice also co-starred in Nickelodeon’s made for TV original movie, “Spectacular!” in early 2009.
Justice is represented by Mitchell Gossett of UTA and lawyers Marcy Morris and Barry Tyerman of Jackoway Tyerman Wertheimer Austen Mandelbaum Morris & Klein.

Adrenaline Beats by Rob Redstone
So not only is my improv class getting amazingly fun, I am getting braver by the second! Today was a great day in improv, I had some really funny scenes.. But BEWARE! You must still listen to EVERY word that comes out of your class mates mouths, or you can get yourself in trouble, or rather look foolish and have everyone have a great belly laugh at your expense! Which is what happened to me today, twice.
No big deal, I shook it off and laughed with them and was like UGH!! But this class for me is a God-send because, if you have flaws or areas that need fixing, you’re going to lay it all out in the open in from of the world and find out about it, and everyone else will see your flaws too. My flaw is I need to listen MUCH better to what happens before I interject myself into a scene.
For instance, today we did a scene game with 2 people who start and go with a part of info grabbed from another students monologue and go with it. Then you are allowed to do a ‘walk on’ where you can enter their scene temporarily and have some lines, influence the scene in some way and walk off.. Their scene was from a section of a monologue where, in the story, a couple goes to Hong Kong after their wedding but plans if before the husband gets fired. So as I was planning my ‘walk on’, the husband states in the scene that he got fired today. I obviously did not hear him say it and I do my walk on and knock on an imaginary door for him to answer only to break the news to him that I am from his job and I am laying him off. Well, that got huge laughs because he already said he got fired today! So where was my brain! Oh well, it really was funny anyway, it’s tiny words or sentences that are not processed by your brain can really bite you in the butt!
But in the long run, seeing that I have a flaw to overcome, and the exact nature of the flaw, is great, now I can work on that and nip it in the butt. This really is great for my show too. Imagine I was with a celeb and miss heard something they said and fired back with something completely stupid! It’s a class like this that shows you your weaknesses’ and areas that need improvement….
This class is great and worth every penny! Plus I really have nerves of steal and can get up in front of many people and do my thing, even if I screw up, it’s not the end of the world, just react to screwing up like a pro and move on..
That’s all for today’s blog!
